Alderson Broaddus Offers Loan Repayment Assistance Program to All Incoming Students

November 20, 2017

As we mentioned in the past, when we partner with a school, we like to help them get the word out about the good they are doing for their students and families by helping to eliminate fear of student loan debt. We do that in some cases by calling students and families for the schools to let them know about the program, that it covers private alternative and PLUS loans, and by providing materials and training to assist in answering any questions that might come up. We also like to share (when appropriate) any news about their programs as they launch. This week, we’re sharing about Alderson Broaddus University and the launch of their LRAP, the AB Advantage.Alderson Broaddus Loan Repayment Assistance Program
Based in Philippi, West Virginia, Alderson Broaddus University’s LRAP is the first of its kind in that state. The AB Advantage program is offered to all members of the incoming class, which makes it a powerful way for the school to add to their “distinctives”.

When schools work with us to build loan repayment assistance programs (LRAPs), they are standing firmly behind a commitment to their students and families. We see the rewards those programs can generate in terms of enrollment and retention as well.

That is why LRAP is such a powerful enrollment tool. Students and families who feel that the fear of managing debt after graduation is keeping them from enrolling, get relief from that fear. You can see more about how it might help by watching our LRAP basics video. We can also provide a custom view of the benefits LRAP can bring to your campus if you let us know where to send it.
